Internal Links

An internal link is a link from one page or post of a website or blog to another post or page on the SAME site. The other kind of link is called an external link which would go from one site to another.

Internal links help visitors and search engine spiders more easily browse and find content on a website. They are especially important for large websites with hundreds or thousands of pages. Internal links make websites more sticky and encourage visitors to read more before leaving.
