About the course

The first intermediate English course.

What will be covered?

This course builds upon the information taught in English Basic 3 adding new grammar, vocabulary, and topics. Check the syllabus for a complete list of topics covered in the course.

How long is the course?

This course is in development. Each topic should take 1-2 weeks depending on how much time you dedicate. You can signup now & make a donation for its continued development.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost for taking the normal quizzes and tests and for viewing most pages in the course. Students who make a donation towards the course ($100 USD), will get several benefits.  Benefits of student donation toward a course: Students who donate can get support by e-mail, Google Chat or Messenger. Students who donate can request information be added to the course as long as it is relevant. Such as additional exercises, descriptions, and quizzes for a topic Students who donate get their written homework, written homework, and tests graded. Students who donate and are active in doing the course activites can request a progress report. Courses will be maintained as long as there are active students who have donated.

How do I start?

Make your paypal donation for at least the minimum and contact me for more information (same as my paypal email) See the contact me page for more ways to contact me.

How do I make a donation for a course?

You can use any of the donation buttons or forms on the site to make your donation via PayPal. You can make a donation from your PayPal account or donate using your credit card without joining Paypal.  After you make the donation you can let us know through the contact form. If a donation goes through, we should get an e-mail with your name and we will check to see if there is a registered course user with that name so you only really would need to let us know to verify or if you have trouble signing up or registering. Suggested donations for a course are $50 for a mini-course, $100 for a general course, and $150 for a test preparation course. You may make a smaller donation, but it will not be possible to find a teacher to check your homework and tests. In that case, your donation would help fund hosting, maintenance, and new course content.  How do I get extra practice with a teacher? You can pre-pay an hourly rate for scheduled or unscheduled practice with me via messenger, Google chat, Messenger (voice or typed chat) or other messenger service.
